Over ten years ago, I produced the plugin, “The Hack Repair Guy’s Plugin Archiver.”

The plugin remains strong and, in my opinion, is one of the best hidden gems in the WordPress ecosystem.

The archival features within The Hack Repair Guy’s Plugin Archiver should have been implemented in WordPress years ago. I’ve kept the plugin alive ever since.

Now, in 2025, I’ve decided to revive the project and update the code to current standards, with a focus on security and PHP 8.3 compatibility.
