For those of you still using the Google+ posts/threads/ or Google+ plus plugin, Google+ is shutting down soon.
That said, if you’ve built some of your SEO efforts on Google+ in the past, it might be a good idea to download your content.
“But everyone knows that…”
Well, stop there!
Be aware that when you generate the archive of your Google+ posts, images, et al., you must generate an archive “for each” of your separate pages / “Brand Accounts” as well.
A lot of people are going to be quite surprised come May 2019 when they go back through their archive looking for that crazy kitty video they uploaded back in 2016 and find they only downloaded their top-level test posts; and failed to create an archive and download for each of their pages/brand accounts as well. Arghh!
Cause you know a well done crazy kitty video just can’t be replaced.
